Information we collect
We collect the information needed to accept and fulfill an order: your name, shipping address, email address, and payment information. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by MintBoon.
When you contact us through an inquiry form on a product page, we also collect the email address you provide, your message, the page you contacted us from, and your country (detected automatically from your connection) so we can reply. You can also simply email us — the contact page lists the address.
If you are signed in and save cards to your account, we store the list of cards you saved so you can see it on your other devices. Saved cards are visible only to you, are never shown publicly, and are deleted with your account. If you are not signed in, saved cards stay in your own browser and are never sent to us.
How we use information
We use personal information to process payments, fulfil and ship orders, provide order and shipping updates, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet legal and accounting obligations, and respond to inquiries.
Service providers and disclosure
We disclose only what is needed to service providers acting for the stated purposes: Stripe for card payment processing, Wise for bank transfers where one is used, shipping carriers and shipping service providers for delivery, Cloudflare for site delivery and security, and Google Analytics for aggregate site-usage measurement. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Inquiry messages are relayed to us through a messaging service (Telegram) for prompt handling.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary for site operation, security, sessions, carts, and checkout. We also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and improve the service. It sets its own cookies (names beginning _ga) in your browser and sends Google a record of the pages you view; it is not used to make promises about an individual order, and we do not sell this data. You can block it with your browser settings, an ad blocker, or Google’s opt-out add-on.
We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are actually used, so we can find and fix confusing or broken steps. Clarity records a playback of your visit — pages viewed, mouse movement, clicks, and scrolling — and combines these into aggregate heatmaps. It is configured in its strictest privacy setting: page text is masked before it leaves your browser, and what you type into form fields and dropdowns is never captured at all, so your name, address, and contact details do not appear in a playback. Clarity sets cookies (names beginning _clck and _clsk) only where we have your consent to do so. Microsoft acts as a data controller for this data; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement at https://www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement. Playbacks are kept for 30 days and heatmap data for up to 9 months. You can block Clarity with your browser settings or an ad blocker.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for order fulfillment, support, fraud and dispute handling, and applicable legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Retention periods vary according to the record and the applicable requirement, after which information is deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
Your data rights
Customers, including those in the EU/EEA, may request access to or deletion of their personal information. We will assess and respond to requests in accordance with applicable data-protection law; some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
